Who Are We

Dr. Gisele Girault is an anesthesiologist, with Board Certifications in Anesthesia, Pain Medicine and Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Girault attended Yale University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry. She received her Medical Degree from the Kansas University School of Medicine in 1990, and completed her residency in Anesthesia at the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
 

She was a Clinical Instructor in Anesthesia at the New York Medical College and then worked in the private sector as an anesthesiologist for many years.
 

Dr. Girault completed a Fellowship in Pain and Palliative Medicine at Dartmouth University in 1999. She stayed on after her fellowship as Assistant Professor of Anesthesia and Medical Director of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Pain Medicine Fellowship program.

Dr. Girault has been involved in clinical research, and is a published author in Anesthesia literature. She has been in private practice in South Carolina since 2002.       
                                                                                                                                                                

She is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner, proficient in the AMA Guides to Permanent Impairment Fifth and Sixth editions. Dr. Girault has performed impairment ratings, Workers’ Compensation physical exams, Consultations and evaluations for medical necessity for  interventional procedures such as Spinal Cord Stimulators and Radiofrequency Ablation. She is available for depositions and phone conferences, as well.
